Constantinos Adamides (PhD in Political Science and International Studies, University of Birmingham) is an Assistant Professor for the Department of European Studies and International Relations and for the Department of Economics and Finance at the University of Nicosia. He is also a Research Fellow at the Research and Innovation Office, where he coordinates UNic’s Research Ethics Committee. His research areas are securitization, conflict resolution, energy security, and EU foreign and security policy. He has worked on numerous projects both as a coordinator and a researcher. He has coordinated a Jean Monnet Modules Program, drafted and coordinated a European Commission Sponsored Program for Peace-building Partnership Support and participated as a Researcher in an FP7 Collaborative Project regarding religious tolerance and space allocation. Dr. Adamides also serves as Director of the University of Nicosia Diplomatic Academy.
His role in the project will be as a member of the teaching staff as well as the Management Committee.
